I was very surprised to come across a genuine, real life cat here in Stockton; he/she took me by surprise (I don’t like to refer to animals by “it”, they deserve personal pronouns too). So I was hanging out with this cat for a while outside this row of houses, and I guess I looked suspicious or something, because a man from one of the houses began to peer through his curtains at me. I had to attempt to communicate that there was actually a cat with me and I wasn’t just being weird. He came outside and he was alright and stuff; stroked the cat, told me he had a staffy in the house. We had to stop the cat from going inside the house, as he/she probably wouldn’t have made it out again. Hopefully I’ll come across more cats in my time here; I will be going to the Dogs Trust on Sunday so I should be able to get some more dog pictures.
